Key Achievements

With a legal background in crime and childcare law, Carolyn developed a public law practice with a particular expertise in education and community care law. She is an accredited mediator.

Carolyn works part time for Law Centres Network providing practice development consultancy work, training and project management to support Law Centres seeking to extend their services to young people.

She has been a guest speaker at the Children’s Rights Alliance National Conference (2011), BBC Radio 4 You and Yours Program and has addressed an All Parliamentary Group regarding the need to retain areas of education within the scope of legal aid.

Carolyn has been acknowledged as an expert in the field of education and received a highly commended In-House Solicitor of the Year Law Society Excellence Award in 2012 for her work in the field of education law.
